A Typical Day

Yesterday, I got up at about 8:15. I stopped by Panera and bought some bagels to share with others on the way to work. We set up a new snack table in our office and I thought I should christen it. Ricky and I met at 9:00 to start a new project. We had a staff meeting at 11:00. I ate a bag of popcorn for lunch while sitting in Jennifer's office. From 1:30 to 3:00, I was in class, Drugs and Behavior. I spent the afternoon working on the new project and doing some goofing off until George was ready to move the Media Manager project to production. Then I had to get myself on high alert to avoid making mistakes. I worked until 6:45. Then I left to go to yoga. I changed from my work clothes at the studio. From 7:30 to 8:45, I was in yin yoga with a teacher other than Donna, so I was disappointed. Donna owns the studio and is the most exceptional teacher. She is very kind to me. She always asks me how I'm doing. I was home by 9:00 and cooked some rice for dinner. I watched a little TV, that PBS special on Country Boys. I had to clean up a pee spot from Sam who is constantly defying me. I fed the cats at 10:00. Sam gets wet food so he doesn't throw it all up. I put him in the basement, so the other cats won't eat his food. He is able to push his way through the basement door when he is done, because I don't latch it all the way. From 10:00 to 11:30, I read my textbook in bed. I had trouble going to sleep, as usual, but I probably was asleep by 12:30. Flea sleeps on the couch in the dining room. Sam and Harry usually sleep in my bed and sometimes, Theo, but Theo spends a lot of time looking out the window in the second bedroom for a black cat that comes to the recycling box to clean up the cans of cat food.
